Daniel Waycik brings 10+ years’ experience working within the crown and para-governmental sectors leading programs focused on internal capacity development around operations, security, safety & wellbeing. Experienced in facilitation, policy & operations development, and stakeholder engagement; specializing in programs that leverage existing capacities and collaboration for operations that involve participation of multiple organizations.
Daniel is currently working on a number of pilot programs in Winnipeg’s inner city which take a community informed, person centered approach to challenges of safety, wellbeing and addressing barriers in systems navigation.
While an experienced event professional, Daniel has only recently started working with the local Pride in Winnipeg as the Logistics Coordinator. Dan has quickly felt welcomed into the community as both a professional and a person and is humbled at the opportunity to share experience on a topic which is ones career focus of interest and timely in our community.

Daniel Waycik a plus de 10 ans d’expérience au sein du secteur public et paragouvernemental dans la gestion de programmes centrés sur l’augmentation des capacités liées aux opérations, à la sécurité et au bien-être. Son expérience en animation, en développement de politiques et d’opérations et en mobilisation des intervenants, est centrée sur une approche qui utilise les capacités existantes des organisations et favorise la création de partenariats.
Daniel travaille actuellement sur plusieurs projets pilotes avec la ville de Winnipeg, adoptant une approche communautaire et centrée sur la personne pour relever les défis de la sécurité, du bien-être et de l'élimination des obstacles dans la navigation de systèmes.
Bien que Daniel ait beaucoup d’expérience en coordination d’événement, son implication avec la Fierté de Winnipeg en tant que coordination logistique est plus récente. Daniel s’est vite senti à sa place dans la communauté, et ce en tant que professionnel.le et en tant qu’humain. Daniel se sent honoré.e d’avoir l’occasion de partager son expérience dans son domaine d’expertise et qui vient soutenir les besoins présents de la communauté.
