In this presentation, participants will learn about the research findings of a 2020 study on the importance of Pride in rural Ontario. Participants will gain insight on why it's important they exist in rural spaces while learning what more they can do to support the unique needs to 2SLGBTQIA+ people in small towns and rural/remote communities.

Au cours de cette présentation, les participants en apprendront davantage sur les résultats de la recherche de 2020 mettant en lumière l’importance des festivals de la Fierté en Ontario. Les participant.e.s pourront mieux comprendre pourquoi l’existence de ces festivals est importante en milieu rural, tout en apprenant ce qu’iels peuvent faire pour soutenir les besoins uniques des personnes 2SLGBTQIA+ dans les plus petites communautés et en milieu rural/éloigné.
