In this interactive workshop, we will brainstorm ideas on how to (and how not to) design and implement education content targeted for 2SLGBTQ+ communities. The workshop's goals are: to explore effective planning and process guidelines; how to meaningfully engage diversity and inclusion frameworks within content creation; and lastly, to share how accessibility practices can be implemented when creating educational modules that best meets the needs of 2SLGBTQ+ communities. The content for this workshop is based on our ongoing work for the Health Canada funded sexual and reproductive health project called Queering the Compass at Community-Based Research Centre (CBRC). We will bring our learned lessons from this project and hold space for collective knowledge to emerge, thereby guiding us to have a robust toolkit that folks can take and implement in their own work.
